Violist Karen Ritscher and I premiere Olfactory Bulbs (2013), suite for viola and electronics, in her RECITAL this Friday at Tenri Cultural Institute in New York. The suite is a growing and variegated collection of smells translated into sound, an experiment in constructive synaesthesia.
